Welcome to Northside Christian Preschool
At Northside Christian School, we aim to balance the importance of play and academics in our preschool curriculum. We believe that young children thrive in a safe, nurturing environment where open-ended, creative, imaginative, and challenging play is valued for its crucial role in healthy development.
By incorporating elements of the Abeka preschool curriculum, we also focus on providing students with the academic tools they need to prepare for kindergarten. Our curriculum includes activities designed to develop foundational academic skills, a love for learning, intrinsic motivation, good citizenship, and a strong relationship with God, fostering healthy, well-rounded students.

Our preschool incorporates engaging learning environments:
- Imagine - Our building block/math room
- The Word - Our language arts room
- The ABC Cafe - Our Christian character and cooking room
- My Father’s World - Our hands on science room
- The Gardens - Our inside and outside nature curriculum centers
- Designated Music time
- Designated Spanish time
- Weekly preschool Chapel time
Our unique approach fosters independence and leadership by allowing small groups of children to rotate through specially designed areas throughout the day, with teachers remaining in their respective study areas.
Each week follows a specific theme, and these prepared settings are equipped with the necessary tools for students to grow academically, socially, physically, and spiritually. Once a week, all students come together for a time of worship. Our preschool welcomes children starting at age 3 who are self-regulated. We offer five learning groups, each with a maximum of 12 children.
