Northside Christian School is proud to provide every K-12 student with an iPad so learning can continue beyond the classroom walls.  An iPad is a powerful tool for NCS students and their learning. Taking care of an iPad is also an excellent opportunity for students to practice and demonstrate responsibility with a valuable learning tool.

What happens if an iPad is damaged?

Students who take care of the iPad, and return all equipment in good working order, use the school-issued iPad at no cost ($0). Sometimes, accidents do happen.  Northside Christian School provides Applecare Plus on all student devices, so families do not pay for the entire cost of repair.

Typical fees are:
  • Damaged iPad (or Screen) within Applecare+ terms = $49
  • Damaged Cable or Block = $29 (students may purchase their own from retail outlets)
  • Replacement case for iPad 10th Gen = $60
  • Replacement case for iPad 7-9th Gen = $45
  • Replacement Logitech Rugged Keyboard Combo 4 Case (Grades 4-5)= $109
  • Replacement iPad (Lost/Stolen) = Cost of current model at time of replacement plus Applecare+ service (does not transfer from a lost/stolen device)
Families are required to review and agree to our iPad Agreement each school year, by logging into their MyNorthside portal.
